Why did we decided to organize
Exhibitions Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artists?

Well it is a bit complicated, but the condensed answer is that we were tired of seeing many photographers and digital artists being excluded from many exhibitions and juried competitions because their art is not considered fine art by many organizations. In the recent past one of us was on the board of a regional museum and time after time their exhibitions and juried competitions would include 2D and 3D works, but would not include photographers and digital artist. Now, we see this sentiment about photography and digital art as fine art changing, however there continues to be many artists, art collectors, museums and galleries that do not believe that photography and digital art can be fine art. At least that is our observation.  Keeping this in mind, we decided to organize Exhibitions Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artists.  We want to acknowledge that photography and digital art fall into the realm of fine art by providing a venue to display their works.

 

 

Submitting to “NATURE’S EXPRESSIONS”

  • Over $1,500 in cash awards and additional prizes for top three finalist.  To find out more about cash awards and prizes, go to guidelines.
  • Best In Competition is promoted to major media, trade journals, interior designers, art organizations and councils, selected gallery owners/directors, and corporate buyers.
  • Best In Competition has their own online solo-exhibition the month following exhibitions of top finalist.
  • In addition to cash award, Best In Competition receives: a package of promotional tools that can be used in future promotion efforts (valued at $400) as well as “Photo Suite 6″ from onOne Software (valued at $300).
  • In addition to cash award, 2nd place receives “Perfect Effects 3″ software package from onOne Software (valued at $100) and a one year, basic membership, to promote their work from Art & Beyond Publications (valued at $135).
  • Best In Competition, 2nd Place and 3rd Place will all receive “Topaz Adjust” from Topaz Labs (valued at $50 each)
  • Top three finalists are linked back to their own website, which again is added promotion.
  • Top three finalist and their works are archived on site.
  • Small entry fee: $20 US, for up to 5 images
  • We promote Exhibitions Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artists to related sites and organizations, which means you are promoted to all visitors that visit Exhibitions Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artists.
