 Why did we decide to organize Exhibitions Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artists

Well it is a bit complicated, but the condensed answer is that our observation is one of seeing photographers and digital artists being excluded from exhibitions and juried competitions because their art is not considered fine art by many organizations. In the recent past one of us was on the board of a regional museum and time after time their exhibitions and juried competitions would include 2D and 3D works, but would not include photographers and digital artist. Now, we see this sentiment about photography and digital art as fine art changing, however there continues to be many artists, art collectors, museums and galleries that do not believe that photography and digital art can be fine art. Keeping this in mind, we decided to organize Exhibitions Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artists.  We want to acknowledge that photography and digital art fall into the realm of fine art by providing a venue to display their works.
