Awards

  • “Best In Competition”    cash award of $250 US  - PLUS

    1) A specifically formatted for artists, electronic media/press kit that includes about the artist, artist statement, bio, reviews of work, solo/group exhibitions, awards, questions and answers about the artists, contact information and other promotional materials tailored to the “Best In Competition” winner (valued at $400);

    2) A general press release about the “Best In Competition” artist that can be customized to fit many different promotional opportunities as well as one for a specific market chosen by the artist;

    3) A online solo-exhibition following the month of the top finalist exhibition;

    4) An E-mail press release, released by EWW indicating the “Best In Competition” as well as other results of the online juried competition to contacts that include: major media outlets, trade journals, social media, selected gallery owners and directors, corporate art representatives, interior designers and other buying markets.

    5) onOne Software will provide to Best in Competition, Perfect Photo Suite 6 (valued at $300); and Topaz Adjust by Topaz Labs (valued at $500).

  •  2nd Place  cash award of $150 US – PLUS onOne Software Perfect Effects 3 (valued at $100) and one year, free basic membership to promote their work, awarded by Art & Beyond Publications and Topaz Adjust by Topaz Labs (valued at $50).

  • 3rd Place $100 US – plus Topaz Adjust by Topaz Labs (valued at $50).

In addition, EWW will also provide links to the “Best In Competition”, 2nd and 3rd place winners’ websites.

Eligibility

Open to all photographers and digital artists, graphic designers, or illustrators worldwide, ages 18 and older.  Works that are appropriate for this online-juried competition are of any type of subject matter using any style of photography or digital art.

Submission Fee

$20 US, for up to 5 images. Payments are made online through a PayPal account or by credit/debit card. The PayPal name  ”ewedman@exhibitionswithoutwalls.com” should appear on your charge/debit receipt.  Each submission will not be entered into competition until information, images and payment are received.  Please understand that there will be No Refund of Entry Fees.

Artist is Responsible for

Entering works (images) that have been created by the artist and by them alone.  Submitting all material requested by the submission deadline.  ANYTHING GOES submissions must be received by May 31, 2012.  ”Accepted Submissions” means a submission to ANYTHING GOES where payment has been received; up to 5 images have been received through the submit process on “Submit Entry Form” page; and all other information requested on the “Submit Entry Form”.

Images should be prepared in the following manner:

  • jpg format

  • Resolution of 100 dpi

  • Pixel dimension not to exceed 1000 pixels in either height or width

  • Labeled in following manner :    Title of work_artist full name_ANYTHINGGOES.jpg

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity
  • Impact
  • Composition and color balance
  • Consistency with theme

When your form is completed and submitted successfully, you will then be taken to a screen to pay your small entry fee of $20.00 (US) for up to 5 images.  Your submission cannot be completed until payment for entry fee has been made and we have received confirmation of the payment.

Other Information

All photographers and digital artists retain the copyright to their images they submit.  All images placed on this site are “right click” protected.   All photographers and digital artists submitting images to EWW guarantee that these works submitted are their works and not the work of another photographer or digital artist.  Any photographer or digital artist whose image is selected to be placed on EWW’s site and blog, gives EWW the right to use the image for the purpose of display only, as well as, for the 1st place’s electronic media kit, promotional press releases, other promotional pieces and the EWW archives for 12 months. After the initial 12 month period, photographer(s) or digital artist(s) will have to give written permission in order for EWW to continue the archive of their images.  There will be no compensation for the granting of the above listed rights and EWW has no further interest in the photographers’ or digital artists’ images. All inquiries about purchasing the work will be referred directly to the artist. The images and artist statement/bio of artists who are not selected for awards will be permanently deleted from our submissions library after announcement of results of competition.  If you have further questions regarding submissions, please click on the link below.
