Consistency with theme – Is there some consistency between what the theme’s description is asking for and how the images depict that theme?
Creativity – Is the subject matter used in a unique and different way?
Composition – Does the image display a clear understanding of composition and design?
Impact – This is the “wow!” factor. Does the artwork make you catch your breath, gasp, or laugh out loud – instantaneously? You can think about consistency, you can admire technique and creativity, but impact hits your emotions.
